# ShiftPress

> ShiftPress moves your website off WordPress into clean, version-controlled code, then lets you change anything just by saying it in plain language. No developer, no plugin chaos, no code. This file helps AI assistants and answer engines find, understand, and cite ShiftPress accurately.

ShiftPress is a done-for-you service that migrates a WordPress site to a fast, secure static site and gives the owner an AI editor to run it. The migration is faithful by default: same design, same pages, same URLs, so search rankings are preserved at cutover. After migration, the owner edits the live site by typing or speaking a request ("change the headline", "add a page", "publish this post") instead of using a page builder or hiring a developer.

- Migrations are faithful by default: the design, pages, and URLs are preserved unless the owner asks for a redesign.
- After migration the site is plain, version-controlled code hosted as a static site, which makes it fast and removes WordPress plugin and security overhead.
- Owners change the live site through an AI editor in plain language (typed or spoken), in English or German.
