Alka Celić is a sustainability and ESG consultant for Germany's Mittelstand. She had given up on her blog once already, because keeping it current took more time than she had. After moving off Squarespace to ShiftPress, the blog is back: a dozen high-quality ESG articles at launch, each automatically interlinked, drafted and kept up to date on autopilot.

Alka Celić is a sustainability and ESG consultant who helps small and mid-sized German companies actually do sustainability, not just report on it. Her work spans hands-on ESG implementation, quality assurance for the voluntary VSME reporting standard, and seminars for teams getting to grips with the new rules.
Her promise is pragmatic: structure the work, bring people along, and make sustainability something a company lives rather than a document it files. In a field where the requirements shift constantly, being visible and credible online matters, and that is where the website, and a blog she could actually keep up, came in.
Alka had run a blog before. It did not fail for lack of ideas, it failed because keeping it going cost more time than a one-person consultancy has to spare. Three things stood out.
Researching, writing, structuring and formatting each post by hand was a job in itself. Between client work, the blog was always the thing that slipped, so eventually it stopped.
ESG rules keep moving. Articles that were correct when published quietly became wrong, and an outdated blog on a regulatory topic does more harm than none at all. Keeping it current by hand was not realistic, so she took the blog down.
The internal and external links that make an article rank and read well are tedious to add by hand. On a tight schedule they are the first thing to get dropped, which quietly weakens the whole blog for search.
ShiftPress does the heavy lifting and keeps the site intact. Here is the path Alka took, from Squarespace to a live site with a working blog.
ShiftPress read the live Squarespace site, page by page, so the design and content carried over without a manual rebuild.
The site came back as static code hosted on ShiftPress, with the domain pointed via Dogado, and an AI editor for changes instead of a builder subscription.
Instead of a blank blog, Blog Autopilot drafted a dozen ESG articles from her topics, SEO-structured and interlinked, ready to review and publish. A blog she had given up on was live again in under a week.
New articles now draft themselves whenever there is a topic worth covering, and existing ones can be brought up to date as the rules change, without the manual grind that ended the first blog.
Instead of one lonely welcome post, the blog launched with a dozen substantial ESG articles, on VSME reporting, double materiality, the PPWR packaging rules, transition plans, AI in sustainability reporting and more, each structured for search and interlinked automatically.

I am really impressed by the high quality of the proposed blog articles by ShiftPress, and it's a game changer to create high-quality content continuously.
The difference is not just speed, it is that publishing no longer depends on finding a free afternoon. Blog Autopilot turns a topic or keyword into a ready-to-publish, SEO-structured article, so an expert can keep a steady stream of content going without a content team behind her.
The part that saves the most fiddly work is the linking. Every new article arrives already interlinked: relevant internal links to her other pages and articles, and external links to authoritative sources, placed automatically as the piece is written. One article alone carried 20 internal and 13 external links, the kind of structure that helps a page rank and that almost never survives a manual, time-pressed workflow.
The link structure, so that new articles have automatically relevant external and internal links, is great and saves me lots of time.
For a consultancy, search is how most new clients find you. Every well-structured article is another page that can rank for a real question someone types into Google, and the internal and external links woven through it are exactly the signals search engines use to understand and trust a site. Publish steadily and you simply have more chances to show up. That is the whole point of targeting the words your customers actually search, and of getting the SEO basics right underneath the content.
The same articles now do double duty in AI. When someone asks ChatGPT or Google's AI overview a sustainability question, the assistants answer from clear, current, well-linked sources, and increasingly name them. A steady blog makes a site one of those sources; a dormant or outdated one is invisible to Google and AI alike. It is why a living blog, plus small pieces of AI-readable hygiene like llms.txt, now matter as much for being quoted by an assistant as for ranking in search. There is more in our plain-language SEO guides.
ESG and sustainability is one of the most volatile areas of regulation right now. Standards get renamed, thresholds move, new rules land. On a hand-run blog that volatility is a liability, the reason Alka stopped the first time. On ShiftPress it becomes an advantage: because articles are cheap to draft and quick to refresh, staying current is something the site can actually keep up with, so her expertise shows up online as often as the rules change.
ShiftPress moves your site to code you own and runs your blog on autopilot: SEO-structured, automatically interlinked articles, drafted and kept current for you. Join the waitlist and get publishing.
