The Trading Online Voucher
The Trading Online Voucher, run by the Local Enterprise Offices, is the most useful thing to know before you get quotes. According to the scheme's published criteria:
- It is worth up to €2,500, and the business co-funds 50 percent of the project.
- It is for businesses with fewer than ten employees and a turnover under €2 million that have been trading for at least six months.
- It can go towards developing your website and adding things like booking systems or payment facilities.

- Privacy and cookies. The GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 require a privacy notice, and Irish ePrivacy rules require consent before non-essential cookies are set.
- Accessibility. The European Accessibility Act has applied in Ireland since 28 June 2025, through S.I. No. 636 of 2023. It covers services such as online shops and online booking for consumers.
